Abbotts Bitters

Ingredients
5 g Star Anise crushed
40 g Benzoin resin
20 g Bay - Pimenta Racemosa
40 g Cardamon pods (crushed)
470 g Clove Buds whole
16 Sticks of Cassia (Cinnamon)
6 g Spearmint
3 g Lavender Flowers
3 tsp Dried Gentian
1½ cup Ginger ( chopped)
14 g Nutmeg (ground)
8 g Allspice Berrys (crushed)
225 g Tonka Beans cracked
2 L Rye Whisky (100 Proof)

History
Abbott's bitters were very popular in the 1800's and early 1900's. They are the original bitters in the Manhattan Cocktail. More info soon.
