2 Gallons Alcohol
8 oz Cashew Nuts
4 tsp Coriander
1 oz Wormwood
1 oz Peruvian Balsam
Zest from 6 Lemons

Instructions:
Macerate everything in the alcohol for eight days. Distill the liquor in a water bath to nearly one-half. Add a syrup made with 5½ pounds of sugar in equal amount of water. Color green.

Notes:
Balm of Mankind is a lost liqueur that doesn't really make an appearance in any cocktail books, that I know of. However, there are occasional references to Balm of Mankind.

In some instances it was called "Human Balm".
