Perfect Love

Ingredients
6 Pints Brandy
2 oz Dried Seville Orange Peel
4 tsp Lemon Zest
1 tsp Jellyflower (caryophyllaceae)
3 Pints Water
5 lbs Sugar

Instructions:
Combine brandy with orange peel, lemon zest and jellyflower. Distill out 4 pints. Combine the sugar and water to make a syrup and add to the cooled distillate. Colour with cochineal.
 
Notes:
Perfect Love is the English translation of Parfait Amour.
