Product Description
This is one of the classic Irish whiskies. John Power was the first distiller in Ireland to bottle his own whisky, to ensure good quality. He named the product "gold label" to avoid confusion with the bonded Powers white label whiskey. Unlike Bushmill's and Jameson whiskies, I don't believe Powers has any regional following.
Label Text
Powers Gold Label is one of the great Irish Whiskeys, representing the best of Irish quality, tradition and character. With over 2.5 million bottles sold each year, Powers Gold Label is one of Ireland’s best loved whiskeys and indeed spirit brands. So much so that in every pub and off-license in Ireland, you will always find a bottle of Powers Gold Label.

Serving Suggestions :
Powers is a great general purpose Irish whiskey. It is good over ice and would work well with any cocktail or Irish Coffee. Its characteristic Irish style makes it easy to drink and good for people who are expanding their palate into the world of spirits.
